Upgrading the technology would, in all likelihood, cost vast sums and make obsolete existing DAB sets. DAB reception is of very poor quality in large parts of the UK and stations are forced to broadcast mono output. DAB was created using 1980’s technology and cannot cope with the demands of a modern radio industry. It is becoming increasingly apparent in the Radio industry that the future of the DAB digital radio format is uncertain. You say the Internet is the future, what about Digital radio then? We have no plans or aspirations to broadcast on more traditional platforms that are highly regulated and expensive to operate on. We believe the future lies on this platform as a new generation of Wi-Fi enabled devices including Smart Phones become available. Firstly, we are committed to broadcasting on the Internet. The station is different for a number of reasons. What is so different about The Power Station? While this freedom is abused so often with destructive content, we want to use the opportunity to provide good, wholesome, Christian programming to our listeners.

I have a passion for better access and expertise for people that have been marginalised in society so that they may reach their full potential and have the same level of opportunity as everyone else. I thoroughly enjoy my role as a radio presenter and I developed The Power Hour to become a bridge between BAME led businesses and Industry Leaders, the voluntary sector and government stakeholders. I am a member of several charities advocating for better diversity on the board, technology for women and girls, and career opportunities for young people from low income backgrounds. Personally, and professionally I speak up for all women and people from BAME backgrounds amongst my network, on panel discussions, and through public speaking to enrich them in the knowledge of the barriers and where things can be improved. It is always at the forefront of my agenda and I advocate for better integration, education, and opportunity amongst all stakeholders and demographics. My business expertise is within entrepreneurship, consultancy, business development, comms, training, and business mentoring.īecause of my background and my own backstory, I am extremely passionate about social mobility, equality, and diversity and inclusion.
